Android? Hold vol up down and centre button and switch on,will come on in hard reset mode u will lose any data pics etc but will reset to factory

The option to keep the display bright is not found under settings in the Android app, but under the font settings. If you tap the centre of your screen whilst reading your book the icons will appear at the top of your screen. Click the font size icon, and a drop down list of settings will appear. The one at the bottom deals with brightness.

This sounds like it is a heat related wiring issue with the screen and the connector to the screen. Best to take this in to an apple genius bar and show them the ipad when the line is present. They should be able to then replace the screen for you.

some devices need you to press power button + both volume up and down.

But perhaps you even have to think twice before you let anything repair. When the kindles are still under warranty, no problem, but sometimes the work alone costs more then a new Kindle. The best you can do is clear with Amazon what you can do with the books you bought on a Kindle, when the device is beyond repair. when you can put them on another device, perhaps it is cheaper to buy a new.

You need to talk to Kobo technical support.

Just a question, does your Klu once fall down on the ground ?
If yes, you have to change the screen or repair it.
If no, try to make a hard reset of the Klu.

Sounds like your video processor is faulty or a loose ribbon cable inside your tablet.

sounds like you have some dead pixels. There is no solution except to replace the screen
