You have a bad lid switch mechanism.
Mechanically or electrically it can fail. You can disconnect it and bypass it to see if the washer works. To replace it you get the panel off the front and then pop the top. Here is a video:

You need to check the fuse link in the console. These are known to burn out quite often. Here is a link to the part.
