turn it off and remove the battery from back then connect your psp with psp charger and then try to turn it on if it turns on thenchange your battery stttings from pandora to normal. Hope this help. I f this not works try cleaning your battery and its area with a soft cloth.
If it has a lamp that has not been replaced in a long time it may be that---if it turns on slow and is somewhat dim that points to a lamp that is about to fail---set detects if lamp not full up or bright enough etc.
The light staying on is afterburn or power stored in a capacitor to start up the solenoid.
The protection circuit has been invoked to protect other components from being burned out. This unit needs professional intervention.
Unplugging and leaving for a few hours will not fix it it will merely delay the inevitable.I suggest it is taken for repair ASAP and refrain from trying to run it to prevent major damage or even fire.
