My cord wont rewind

The rewind tension spring may be broken or fully extended. Try to yank hard on the cord and pull toward you with some force. Pull until the line will no longer come out and if it won\'t recoil then it needs to be repaired.

My Henry Hoover cut out and will not work. Emptied bag and replaced fuse but no success.

If no burning or smelling, maybe nothing to do with motor, and if caused by the safety cut-out, it will need about an hour to cool down, and then check filter, bag, and drop coin through hose, pipes and the floor tool, to check for blockages and to stop it running hot. Damaged cable, worn carbon brushes, broken electrical rewind electrical contacts or even the printed circuit board (later models) are the most likely causes.

Plugged my Dyson in this morning, switched it on and power came on for not even a second and died. No power what so ever to dyson - checked my house sockets, changed fuse. Still not working - dead as a...

It is either your power cable, cable rewind mechanism or your motor.
Try switching it on, and wiggling the lead near the plug and see if it fires up. If it does, remove the moulded plug and fit a standard plug.
If not, likely suspect is the motor or the cable rewind mechanism. Neither are an amateur job. If you are in the UK, you could send it to Manchester Dyson for either to be fixed. Carriage will cost you about £10 each way. A motor replacement will cost around £65 and a cable rewind mechanism about £45-£50.

Machine keeps cutting out intermittenly

My Sebo Air Belt C2 Total. The automatic electric cable wire won't stay out when pulled, it just springs back. When I'm hoovering I have to wrap the wire around the small wheels so that it doesn't shoot back in the machine.

I think my motor is broken , can i simply replace

Unless you know what you're doing, you can easily mess the whole thing up. It's not hard to replace the motor, but its a task you have to pay close attention to. If you can, get the motor from Sebo and then take it to a local vacuum shop and have it installed. But first make sure they are an authorized Sebo ship

My sebo airbelt k2 won't start

Hi It could be two things = one problem is that the cord in Sebo's K model has a bad habit of shearing thanks to its auto pull rewind mechanism. This would have to be replaced by a Sebo repairer.
Or it could be the actual electric socket if the bonded plug is loose - if there are wires visible at the end of the plug then the plug would have to be replaced. Its a common fault on Sebo's K models when the power stops thanks to shearing cords.

No power

This is a dead motor. the electrical motor is experiencing windings failure and will have to be replaced or rebuilt. Just to be safe, remove the switch and test with voltage needle to see if the problems here. i suspect total motor failure.

Sebo Airbelt K1 Electrical Problem

Remove the belt or seal that goes around it, there are some clips to take out, then it will separate.
