My new Saluspa wont' heat over 95F. Any recommendations?

If your new Saluspa is not heating above 95°F, there are a few things you can try:
  1. Check the water temperature: First, make sure that the water temperature is actually below 95°F. You can use a thermometer to check the temperature of the water in your spa. If the water is already at 95°F or higher, your spa may not be designed to go above that temperature.
  2. Check the filter: Make sure that the filter in your spa is clean and not clogged. A dirty filter can reduce water flow, which can impact the heating of the spa.
  3. Check the water level: Ensure that the water level in your spa is high enough. If the water level is too low, it can cause the spa to overheat or shut off entirely.
  4. Check the thermostat: Make sure that the thermostat on your spa is set to a temperature above 95°F. If it is set correctly and the water temperature is still not rising, there may be an issue with the thermostat that requires professional repair.
  5. Check for blockages: Make sure that there are no blockages in the pipes or jets of your spa that could be limiting the flow of water and causing the water to not heat properly.
If none of these steps work, it may be best to contact the manufacturer or a professional spa repair service for further assistance.

I have a Spa PAK heater in my hot tub Was vacuuming the debris out of the bottom and now having issue. Controls showed 90° yet the temp was 117°. Heating light does not come on when heating. All pumps and...

Sounds like a thermostat issue. The vacuuming should not affect the thermostat but depending on the model you could have damaged it. Remove and clean the thermostat and test. if the problem persist you can have the thermostat tested. Most Spa retailers will be able to test it.

How to replace spa thermostat?

You'll need to remove thermostat. Firstly disconnect the power from the spa. Behind or inside the control box/panel where the temperature dial is you'll find the body of the thermostat.
This body is usually attached with screws or a nut.
You'll need remove the wires connecting to the thermostat. Take note of their positions and which terminals they connect to.
Follow the capillary (copper tube) coming out the side of the thermostat to where the bulb is located. Remove the bulb carefully.
Once removed you should be able to find the model # of the thermostat on the body. Also pay attention to the diameter of the thermostat bulb and the length of the capillary. It will likely be an Invensys or Eaton thermostat, they are common and easy to find. Let me know if you need more help on this.

Error fault Er08 on a Lanark spa

This is not a brand we have in the US, but spas are all pretty similar.

Digital (probe type) sensors run from the control box/board under the spa to a thermo-well in the side of the spa.
A thermo-well is a fitting which the temperature probe slides into allowing it to read the water temperature in side the spa. They are commonly found in the foot well of the spa. Its easy to locate when you are in the spa.

To fix.
Check that the sensor has not been disconnected from the board or at the thermo-well end.
If it was connected disconnect and reconnect from the board.
Reset the spa.
If that does not work you'll want to purchase a new sensor from the spa dealer.
Most spa owners will replace the sensors at least once.

ELS 1102-2, THE HEAT CONTROL IS SUPER SENSITIVE. THE SLIGHTEST MOVEMENT HIGHER AND THE WATER IS TOO HOT, THE SLIGHTEST MOVEMENT LOWER AND THE WATER IS TOO COLD. THIS IS A FACTORY INSTALLED...

Mechanical thermostats such as the one in your heater are only accurate between 3-5 degrees once set. Unlike a digital thermostat that is accurate to .1 degrees. You can purchase an aftermarket thermostat for $120 that is digital and can be installed in your heater.

Pool heater is not working properly

So I assume you have pressed the button by pool to select the pool thermostat? If this doesn't work sounds like another mother board problem, or try powering down the unit a few minutes then restart. IF you haven't pressed the pool button, the read this: The heater comes factory set at 78° F. for the pool mode and 100° F. for the spa mode. If it's in spa mode it's trying to get to 100F. Using the up and down arrows, you can set the thermostats to a minimum temperature of 65° F., or a maximum of 104° F. If you desire to heat only one
body of water, the thermostat is capable of an off mode. As an example, if you only wish to heat the pool and not the spa simply depress and hold the spa down arrow, and the thermostat will lower its setting to 65° F. then go to an off mode. Can we install an indoor thermostat for this heater?

There are aftermarket controls made to allow for remote operation of your heater along with the rest of your pool equipment. Jandy's aqualink system and Haywards Goldline to name two. You may want a professional opinon from a local pool store because these systems can be costly.

You could try to set up your own with a thermostat and thermistor but you would need to be well versed in installing these items as well as running remote wiring which is beyond most technicians or homeowners' abilities.
