Disconnect all speaker wires and signal cables from the amp. If it powers up, the wiring needs to be checked. If it still shuts down, the amp likely has blown output transistors.

Green power light comes on for a split second, then red.

The power supply (AC adapter) is bad. It has enough power to light the red LED, but not enough to power the TV.http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38&_nkw=12+volt+5+amp+power+supply&_sacat=See-All-Categories

1000 w sony xplode works at low volume then red lights at volume5

Most likely one of your subs are blown, or the Ohm's are too low for the ampliphier. Try hooking up one speaker at a time to the amp and see if it does the same thing. If it shuts off on one of the two speakers, that speaker is most likely blown.

Fusion amp . the green light is on but when i turn the volume up the red led light is flashing but gleen led is still on and sub goes a quiet bass sound .

First your need to make sure that the amplifier is grounded properly. And verify that all other connections are as well. Unfortunatelly, i wouldn't be able to help you because i need to be in front of it to troubleshoot. Hope you fix it.

It appears that the output transistors have failed. To eliminate other possible causes, read through the following page. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Red light

something is shorted in the circuit, or your subs. unhook the subs first and try it again, if it is still in protect then it is most likely the output transistors.

Power light

This could be a DC offset condition. Check you manual for what this means. Or other condition. First Disconnect the Subs and try it. If it still goes red then disconnect the RCA's and try it again. If the Led continues to go red after the click then the Amp is hosed. The Click you hear is an internal relay that cuts the subs in after a dely so you do not get the turn on THUMP of the radio at your subs.
