Question about Lowrance Elite-7 Hdi Sonar/Gps Combo, Model 83/200 Ducer

My Elite 7 turns on and says Elite Lowrance on screen will not do anything else can i do a master reset and how do i do it?

My Lowrance Elite 7 Ti is not working. After I switch it on, the screen comes up with the usual Lowrance screen and then after a few seconds the screen goes dark and I can't see anything.

It may be a dead battery and to replace that probably costs more than a new unit. Based on all the problems owners note here with Lowrance, let me be the first to suggest you get a different maker's product!

Do you mean the Lowrance Elite-7 HDI? Most Lowrance manuals are available here: http://www.lowrance.com/en-US/Support/Documents/ . Click on the Elite series and then scroll down the list in the Select Product window. Then look at the lower right side of the page. The Operation manual and installation guide are both available. I have a lowrance elite 7 chirp. the gps feature is not showing up as one of my map features. Does this indicate that I may have installed something improperly?

How do you manually reset a lowrance eliite 5

You can try holding in the zoom in/out buttons (+/-) as you push and release the power button.
Hold the zoom keys until you hear a beep.
If your hard restart is successful. You should see the GPS screen with prompts for language etc.
if you cannot get the system to cooperate and all you see is the "Lowrance" screen, then you are experiencing a Castro pic system failure and the unit needs to go back to Lowrance.

How do I set position on my lowrance hdi 7

The GPS will automatically triangulate your position and display it on the map screen.
If you have your cursor turned on the the map screen will remain centered on the cursor.
while on the map screen push the Menu key and then the Enter key. If you notice the pop up window when you push menu you will see the first field highlighted will be to return to current position or something similar. By pushing enter you are selecting this option and the unit will display your current position on the map screen.

My lowrance elite 5 hdi won't go past the "elite lowrance" screen when you turn it on. Its only 2 weeks old!?

Make sure that your battery is fully charged. Try a hard reset if it still won't start up.
This will erase all user information on the device, so you will have to set it up again.
With the unit off, press and hold the zoom in (+) zoom out (-) and power buttons. Release the buttons when the map displays.

lowrance troubleshooting the auto depth will not read, I have to put the unit on manual mode to see the depth.

I can't get out of downscan mode to conventional mode for the full sonar menu
