SOURCE: The scroll wheel won't work

Mine also stopped functioning so took it to a camera repair shop. The shaft had broken and had to be replaced. It cost me approx a sixth of the price of the camera.

Stoplight shows even though all pics have been downloaded

Do you happen to be on a Mac when you downloaded the photos? If so, make sure to empty the trash (while still having the camera plugged in) after you delete them.

I have a eos40D, when in AF it wont focus nor shoot pics

Hi. Good Camera... Not being funny.. But do you have the instruction manual. If not first try resetting the camera. Once done, if you can live without live view don`t bother setting it up.
How to reset:-
-set the mode to manual
-press menu, scroll to the third yellow box with the spanner icon.
-scroll to Clear all camera settings, choose clear and confirm your choice.
When you are shooting make sure your lens is switched in AF mode.
Try this first and get back to me.

I cannot unlock some pictures saved on my Olympus D-630 camera

The key icon shows the the pictures got locked in the menu options. The happens by accident very easily. You will need to press your menu button, scroll through the options until you see either "locks" or "security". Once you see this press the select button and you will be able to access the locked pics. to unlock them.

Microsoft notebook mouse 5000 Wheel scroll stopped

Fixing the wheel/scroll malfunction was as simple as a reboot. I usually shut down in hibernate. Apparently the system needed a complete reboot to reset.

It sounds like your images have been corrupted. It can happen sometimes during transferring from you camera and many other reasons. You may want to try getting a card reader to eliminate/reduce that problem.

PICS

Use Windows Explorer - START > right click > Select explore.

Once you have connected your camera to the PC, and after it has been detected (you may need to install camera drivers fro some models, if it doesn't get detected) , open Windows Explorer as explained above. Now scroll down on the left panel until you see the entry for your camera. Click the (+) next to the entry to expand. Scroll down to the appropriate folder and copy all the pics you want to transfer. (right click, copy. For multiple selections, hold down the CTRL key and click on the pics you want one by one)
Now select the folder where you want to copy the pics to, and right click -paste them there.

Of course, will have to have installed the camera driver first in your PC, or sometimes the camera may not be recognized.

If you find that the solution/answer I provided led you to, or resulted in a fix, please close the ticket with a FixYa! rating. I would be very grateful for your show of appreciation.

Unwanted pictures

At the top of the camera is a camera symbol and an arrow button. Push the camera button to call up pics and use the left/ right ring where the OK button is to scroll thru. When you get to a picture you do not like push the red garbage can button on the lower right rear of the camera. It will ask you to confirm, then it will delete.

Hope this helps.
