Why is my Haier mode HVCE15 makes loud noise ?

That is not the whole model number, there are 5 units that have that starting model number BUT there are letters after that number. Parts are available and don't appear to be very costly.

No. The high pitched noise did not originate in the control panel but rather in a part of the machine that was chafing or rubbing against something. And now the mechanism is stuck. Check for that first before messing with a control panel.

I say it's a worn out or broken belt. I hope this is all it is as it's cheaper to repair.

compressor hums -working clanging not good

Hi, I am not familiar with this model but the noise sounds like a relay clicking at the compressor. Is the sound coming from the outside in the back?

some thing is wrong

Check the front water bucket handle.

Have someone check the run capacitor of this unit. If the run capacitor is bad over shorted it can cause the unit to run and short cycle on a current overdraw. This makes for an electrical imbalance in the compressor motor. Next step is the compressor is faulty.
