New bulb but does not seem to work projector lamp light comes red on and off could it be the blast unit that turns the bulb on or some thing else please help
You need a ballast for the projector

According to Epson the led will flash red in one of two cases: Flashes red with 1 sec intervals - either the lump has burned out(We can rule this one in this case) or the lamps cover is open (try checking the cover's sensor) Flashes red with 2 sec intervals - an internal problem, I'd suggest contacting Epson's support. if you know how to open the unit, try fixing its ventilation. flashing bulb light sometimes mean an occurance of overheating. try to clean all the fans and the air vent.
