The compressor on my 2075 DWRRB unit stopped. Confirmed power to the unit (interior light is on and "On/off" switch is on. Is there a reset button on this unit? Sometimes when a ref rig compressor quotes you can reset but don't see one on this unit. Where can I get a diagram of the compressor?

if it is not the pressure switch, you will have to replace compressor. This a very light duty compressor.

check that the compressor is working by feeling for motor vibrations at the compressor, hot compressor unit or hot fins or back wall of the fridge
if there is not heat then the compressor is not working
call a technician as it could be a start/run capacitor failed or compressor seized
get a quote as some compressor replacements cost as much as a new fridge
check that the utility power is getting to the fridge/freezer

Check the breaker first and confirm that power is being delivered to unit. Then if power is confirmed, try the reset and make sure that power is now getting to the heating coils. If necessary, you can always jump the reset switch if it stays stuck.

Check to see if there is a reset button you can use to reset unit to factory defaults. Contact the mfg directly for the code to accomplish this. If that does not do it then you are SOL.

It will be very diffilcult for even the most experienced technician to troubleshoot your refirgerator with so little information. No make and model number, no infor on how old it is...therefore start with the basics:

Verify it has power (does the interior light(s) come on?

If so, most refrigerators DO NOT have a reset button. The motor overloads reset when they cool off. If your unit has power and will not start after left alone (unplugged) for a few hours, then either the thermostat controls (most likely), a part of the thermostat controls (some controls use mutilple sensors and control relays), the overload on the compressor is bad or the compressor itself is bad. If the condenser fan runs but the compressor does not...I would suspect a problem with the compressor or it's electricals. If nothing starts except lights...I would suspect the temperature control. motor may be burnt out and need replaced

fans wear out too, did it make any unusual noises befor it stopped working?

if fridge freezer sits down after power outage on a rs21dcns where interior lights are lighting but nothing else is working press power freeze and power cool buttons together for a few seconds should repower unit

well i have a 75r also with the same symptoms but there's no freezer in this model so I don't know how it could be the defrost timer.

Just to be sure... check your owners manual to see if this unit has a "showroom switch". It's a little switch that turns off the compressor, etc. but lets everything else light up so the sales persono on the showroom floor can show it off. Some customers have hit the switch to "on" during cleaning by accident.
