You don't have an inverter module in that set. I believe you meant to say convergence module. You cant buy those anymore, they must be repaired to component level.
If the main channel input is not giving you a picture, you need the tuner checked out or replaced. a good indicator is when you select a channel with the remote you will get just snow(sometimes followed by static in the audio)you do get the picture in picture thru the auxiliary inputs on the tv because they go directly into the audio and video drivers and bypass the RF circuitry. One way of making sure that the tuner is the problem is by hooking up the coaxial out of a vcr or dvd player to the main in or cable in of the tv and selecting channel 3 on the tv and then try a tape or a disc, if you get a picture then suspect something crossed in your installation between pip and main in of your tv set.please your feedback if i answered your question.thanks!
With the model number you gave, it comes back to a 2002 model in which DLP sets were not out yet. That's a conventional projection set with 3 picture tubes. Check the model number again?
This is most likely a convergence problem. Does the picture look like 3D? If so, please confirm that the model is PCL541R and I'll rpovide additional details and instructions.
perfect focus functions are based on service mode setup...or factory settings. if the alignment of these setting are loss then the unit wont perfect focus. does the unit have a complete loss of convergence. a complete loss of convergence indicate possible failure of convergence amps.
