Amp occasionally turns itself off and back on again. Sometime stays off and has to be powered off before it will come back on.

tighten or change power steering pump belt if persist replace power steering pump

sounds like a defective str power regulator ic .......but my advice get a tech to resolder all the pins at the power suppy board area, there may be some open pins that triggers the on and off episodes

Hello, I think You should have a cooling fan that can cool it from heat. Because the cause of that problem is that the prossesor is over heated and it cant contiune. So you have to take out of power for sometime (1 hour or more) then try it again. If you need me call on me back.

try to open back cover and remove / insert all connector that you can found including ribbon wire check also soldered side for possible lost contact.

your tv has a fan cooling problem 1 or more of the fans is out.

its thermostat needs to be replaced

Sounds like it could be a poor connection in the power plug or a ' dry joint ' on the power board, if it's the latter, it will respond to light thumping at the side of the tv. If that's the case it needs resoldering by a technician..

The solution at this point would be to get the power supply repair since new boards are not longer being manufactured. In about 95% of the time if the LCD doesn't power up or turns OFF by itself or need to be unplug for some time to make work again; those are the symptoms of a dying or defective power supply.
