We have 70 of these units,Recently 2 have stopped working. I am not getting any lights on the control pad.I have checked breakers and the power cords.Is there a fuse or relay that could be the problem

rewire it from the opener and see if it works then. check all the sensor wires also.

F70 and F71 are two logic board error codes that point at a communication error between the main logic module and the control pad (user interface and CCU), and between the motor control unit and central control (MCU, andd CCU that is main control module).

Repair is difficult, as motor, wiring and voltages from control modules must be tested. Try first doing a reset, by disconnecting power cord or tripping circuit breaker and leaving power off for five minutes.

If that does not help and errors come back, then the best thing to do is calling the service number listed on the user manual.

F70: CENTRAL CONTROL UNIT HEARTBEAT FAILURE
If a Central Control Unit Heartbeat Failure is displayed, no communication is detected from the Central Control Unit to the User Interface.

1. Check for continuity of the User Interface harness.
2. Check wire harness connections to the User Interface and the Central Control Unit.
3. Replace User Interface if drum is rotating.
4. Replace Central Control Unit if drum is not moving

Dear sir! First of all when water servicing any appliances,ask service man to check all loose wiring after service and also blow dry air near electrical ends to remove moisture or water drops.
And also replace compressor contactor (Not relay) as it's struck. That is one of the reasons to get breaker tripped. Helpful?

Try shutting off the power at the breaker, leave it off for 45min. This will reset the unit. If you had a power spike this will fit the issue.

You definitely have an electrical short in the unit and should stop using immediately. Have it checked out by a licensed electrician. It is a very real fire hazzard.

It sounds to me then that the display board or touchpad needs replacing,you havn't said that it's not doing it's cycles.so it's not causing any washing or cycle problems.i would replace the display board.

Try jigling the ribbon cable that is connected to the control panel. These ribbon cables sometimes fail. Also check the fuse on the control board to see if it is blown.
