Fix broken ejector handle

You need to obtain a replacement flash ejector handle first. If you open the router out, you can push the broken ejector handle out with a small flathead screwdriver, it just slides out forward toward the face of the router if you apply a bit of pressure. Then you just slide in the new ejector handle, which is "keyed" on one side. There is also a small metal lever pin that you need to line up with the spring hole when sliding the new ejector handle into place. Once inserted is will snap gently into place and you are done.

13 years old; water dispenser works fine -- refuses to make ice cubes

Your icemaker module is likely broken. Look at the ejector fingers and see if they are pointing up and slightly to the right. If not, replace module.

My playstation 3 disk will not go inside the playstation, it seems to be blocked, i have a fat playstation 3, if you could help i would be very greatful! Thanks!

Seems like the disc ejecting mechanism is broken...or if u have taken it apart recently, the sensor tab for the ejector is in the wrong spot..if u took it apart, do it again and make sure the little metal tab in the shape of an upside down "U" is in the proper slot and moves freely...if u didnt do anything to it then u seem to have a broken drive ejector and need a full new blu ray drive...sorry but these are 100 bucks but r easy to install and only take 15 mins and a few screws..try ebay for a warrantied one..hope it helps.

My ice maker is not dumping the ice it just freezes and stays in there help

You need to replace the ice maker . It is a lot less time consuming to replace the ice maker , than to try and repair it . But , if you want to try , you have a bad thermostat , or broken gear . If the gear type , pull the cover off the ice maker , and you will see the motor running ( small gear ) , but not turning the large gear . In this case , replacing the large gear , would be the best thing , instead of replacing the whole ice maker .

Pam, if the ejector blades are in the 2:00 positon then it's in it's home position. When you open the freezer door, you should see two flashes followed by a pause repeatedly. Hold the left side emitter down and the light should stay on steady. If you have this, the optics are good. Next step is to remove the ice maker from the mount and inspect the module. Make sure that the two clips that are holding the center wheel are not broken, If you only see one clip, then it's broken. If that is ok, make sure the fill tube is not frozen up, they have a habit of doing that. If it is, use a baster and thaw it with hot water. If that is ok, leave the ice maker on the top shelf with the harness attached. Unplug the refrigerator and insert a jumper between T&H. Close the freezer door. Plug the refer back in and wait 50 seconds. Now open the freezer door and see if the ice maker is cycling. You may have to press the light switch 3 times. If it is cycling it will call for the fill when the ejector blades are at 12:00 high. If it's doesnt cycle, try it again. Sometimes this takes up to 3 times to get it to cycle. If it fails to start after 3 attempts and the optics are good, replace the module. Let me know how you make out. Catriver

GE PSS26 NGP Ice maker

Hi Vadim, You should have a steady light showing on the ice maker. If the lead is flashing, it's either a thermistor failure or ejector not home. The reasons why the ejector blades will not home is because of a magnet failure, control board failure or a stalled motor. The feeler arm could also be sticking. The control board contains 2 sensors that are activated by magnets. One magnet is attached to the end of the ejector arm to determine whether the ejector blades are at home. The other is located on the ice sensing arm, lets the control know whether the arm has reached a fully extended position. In a lot of these, I find the magnets broken. I think you can save yourself a lot of trouble by just replacing this ice-maker. Catriver.

Look at the ice maker and see what position the ejector bar (white bar with fingers that turns and ejects the ice).  Looking at the ice maker from the front (front is white plastic cover) the ejector bar should be in the 2-3 o'clock position .  If it is not then the module is broken.  In this case the module and ice maker thermostat need to be replaced.  If not sure how to do this repair then just buy a new ice maker.  Let me know what you find and we can go further if necessary.  This is the first thing to check.
