My 2003 aviator gear is locked in park and will not move

check to see if your brake lights work. No? check your brake light fuse. OK? change your brake light switch. Your brake light switch powers the brake / shifter interlock. There is usually a way to bypass the interlock- check your owners manual for bypass button location ( its usually next to the shifter)

Sharp microwave carousel R330J 1100 watt. When the heating cycle is started the microwave light flickers on and off and there is a clicking sound. Initially high voltage fuse blown. replaced fuse and...

Hi and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly.

1st the model number appears to be incomplete. Not an issue at this point but will be if you need parts.

You most likely have an interlock problem with one of the 2 door switches or the door interlock mechanism is broken.
There are 3 safety interlock micro switches activated by the door. One for the light, one for the Magnetron and one for the control panel power. If the problem persists with the Magnetron disconnected. The Magnetron safety interlock micro switch is supposed to blow the fuse if the unit is energized with the door open. Check continuity of your door interlocks. Pat particular attention to the NC (normally closed), C (Common) and NO (Normally Open) contacts.
NC should read to C and when the switch is activated read open at which time the NO contact will read to C.

I really suspect a bad microswitch.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

I have a 2004 F150 supercrew 4x4 and it will not shift into park and when I start it I have to put it into neutral any help Thanks

Sounds like the shift interlock circuit has an issue.

This can be 1 of 3 places

1. The fuse for the Shift Interlock circuit. This is fuse #16

2. The shift interlock switch. This is part of the BPP ( Brake Pedal Position ) Switch that also controls the brake lamps. There are 2 switches in the BPP switch, 1 for the shift interlock, the other the brakes. The circuit in the BPP switch for the shift interlock is the Tan w/ Red stripe wire ( from fuse # 16 ) to Pink w/ Light Green stripe ( to the shift interlock solenoid ).
Test both side of this circuit with a meter ( to ground ) you should have power on the Tan w/ Red stripe wire any time the key is in the Start or Run position.
The Pink w/ Light Green stripe wire should have power any time the brake pedal is pressed down.
If you do not have power at the Pink w/ Light Green stripe wire, you need a new BPP switch.
If you have power with the brake pedal pressed on this wire, you need a new Shift Interlock Solenoid.

Need to know how to remove the control panel to check the fuse. Will not run, push start, beeps three times and light is not working. Please help us!

the fuses for microwaves are not normally placed on the control panel...they are in the back near the power cord...but the fact that it beeps 3 times means the fuse is ok...power is going in....most likely, the fault is one or more of the door interlock switches which arc every time you open and close the door and they corrode or wear down very badly sometimes even burn away so that there is no more contacts to come together....interlocks are cheap to buy and they just snap in place....access to them is easy...just remove the cover and look right behind where the door closes on the inside, you'll see a plastic bar on the door that when you close the door...it pushes on the interlock switches on the inside to activate the oven.......if the interlocks are ok...then you probably have a shorted magnetron....very common on any type of microwaves are these 2 parts...( the interlock switches and /or magnetrons.....it's not likely that your control panel is bad unless you physically see that something has burned on it.....good luck
