You may overfill the ISV tank. #1 Open front cover & close LIQUID valve on the ISV. #2 Disconnect LIQUID hose from tank,then open tank liquid valve (which you close earlier) to reduce some refrigerant manually from the ISV tank. #3 after reduce refrigerant from tank, re-connect everything & switch on the machine. #4 If you still have the same problem then you have to re-calibrate the scal. Hi,
The only way you are going to the freon back into the external tank without another pump will be to connect the two together directly with a hose...preferably on the liquid side of the internal tank...
Then cool down the external tank with ice water and heat the internal tank with a heat gun... the resulting pressure differential will cause liquid to push to the lower pressure tank...gas will also push but the transfer will be much slower...
This is the only way I see that you will be able to transfer freon back to the external tank now...
