I have a sharp Aquos LC-70LE65OU TV. I bought it new about 8 months ago or so. Yesterday I noticed these "hot spots". About 6 or 7 of them, they show up only when there are white or light colors being displayed. During dark moments, you cant see them at all. They are the size of a penny or maybe smaller and they are scattered around the lower left area of the TV. Any ideas? Thanks

The unit has bad drive ic's,which is part of the lcd panel.It is not cheap to fix.

But i would like to help you in this aspect.
HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface, and supports transmission of both audio and video in high fidelity.

First make sure these things,

Both your computer and your TV will need to support HDMI interface.
It's quite a recent thing in PC graphics cards, so you may have to resort to S-Video, DVI or VGA for the video, plus a 3.5mm stereo cable (or the optical TOSLINK equivalent) for the sound.

yes and no. That particular tv you have is done for, but if you just purchased it 6 months ago, you are still within you 1 year warranty with sharp. they will ask you to take it to a authorized service center and you need to follow through with the process. about a week or 2 will pass and the service center will deem the unit unrepairable and sharp will replace it if they cant solve the problem. give em call..good luck 2u

Unfortunately the panel is cracked internally can't can't be repaired the whole panel has to be replaced. most times the panel will cost as much as you paid for the set. My son cracked ours when it was only 3 weeks old it doesn't take much force to ruin one.

SHUT IT DOWN, START IT UP !

Try this with your TV. Completely unplug it and leave for one minute. Start again. Voila ! Remote works flawlessly.
