Marshall mg amp no sound and blown tda7293

This amp has a design defect in the TDA7290 power circuit board. The heat sink is too close to main board when installed (at 90 degree angle) and can TOUCH the power signal on the board shorting out the fuse and/or transistor. I bent back the heat sink bracket slightly and it powered on fine. Also, the cooling fan must be 100% flowing or the transistor will cook in a short time, replace it also with new transistors (its a 5v computer chip fan). Good luck from Arlington guitar shop dot com.

1. momentary sound, then no sound no picture; 2.

Hi, if the power indicator flashes 4x blue more then likely its a SDR buffer logic board. When you take the back cover off they are the long boards on the left side of the tv. There are 2 boards. If you look closely at the black chips on the boards which there should be 8 on each. If you see a burn mark or a deep scratch mark then the chip is fried. If you take the lower one of and turn the tv on it might come on and if not try the top one. Please rate me and let me know how you do.

Beeping sound at boot up, screen showing auto save and not booting up

remove the memory chip, clean it, insert it back in the slot again. "be carefull" dont wrongly place the memory chip else it will burn, there r two clips on each end of the slot, and in the middle a separator. hope this will help. if u have a graphic card in it remove it, clean it, and insert it back on the slot. if doesnt work then replace the memory chip or graphic card. now if u have two or three memory chips in the slot, then test one by one. remove all, then place one, then turn on pc see if the display come, by this way u will know if the chips are good or not, then try the others.

Amp wont turn on, but i hear a pop when turning off

first off nothing should pop when turned off next it could be a grounding problem external or internal or worse an audio output problem take a volt meeter and turn key to on check the ground and positive on the amp should read 12 to 14 volts do same with ground and remote wire if these both read correct remove the back set your meeter to the diode setting the audio outputs are usually the larger ones but sometimes not take your leads and touch out side legs then to the outside to center try each one every way you can switching leads if at any time the buzzer stays on or goes to flat 0 then that output is bad if all check good i would go through the car making better connections and cleaning up any wires that might seem to be faulty maybe even replace your RCA cables
im running 18 speakers and 8 amplifiers in my car and i have done this several times :( but i don't pop unless something is wrong hope this helps

SAMSUNG HC-P4752W 47

There are three main reasons that convergence can still be inoperable after replacing the convergence amps. One, when the amps failed they blew the fuses protecting the power supply from shorts. Two, when the amps failed the yoke return biasing resistors burned open. And Three the Digital Convergence Unit has failed. Once things have gotten to this point it is usually time to have a professional have a look at the set.

Blown fuse and replaced it and burned the amp

BIG problem! You should NOT have replaced the fuse as additional damage has been done. I repaired a PMP5000 and I can tell you likely what you will find: The smoke and smell came from two power resistors that are part of the soft start circuit that now are toast. You will likely find several components in the main portion of the power supply that are toast. These will include transistors, resistors, diodes, and probably the small 8 pin switching regulator chip. There is a small power supply that comes on first which enables a relay that shorts out those soft start resistors AFTER the power amplifier BALANCES and normalizes.
The unit I repaired had severe damage due to arc-over at one power amp section. Three power transistors were destroyed there and board traces and charring had to be handled in that section.
The repaired unit had to be brought up with a light bulb in series with the line power cord to prevent further damage until all bad parts were discovered and repaired. You will need to take the unit to a shop that is expperienced with the product. The repair cost MAY be pretty high.
