SOURCE: sony projector - replacement lamp counter

Hello,

  • Set the projector in standby mode.
  • Press the following buttons on remote control in following order for less then five seconds each...
  • RESET,
  • <=== ,
  • ===>,
  • ENTER
Lamp timer is reset now.

This is also mentioned in user manual page 50

Hi,
Sony original lamp is longer lasting and supplied as per standard where as bulb only does not work like original lamp, many times it will be required to replace again after couple of months.
My opinion is to go for Sony original lamp that is no doubt bit high priced item but works great for years.
