On the m12 impact, when you look in battery well or after opening 3 wires for to battery connectors, check the whites soldering and how many wires are actually soldered in the whites line ... just fixed buddy's who had exact issue and only 3 strands were soldered, stripped about a centimeter more and soldered back on and boom issue solved.

Milwaukee impact driver 2653-20. Why doesn't it run, even with fully charged battery?

I think this would be a new trade-in machine because of the brushless motor and the marketing technical change of the brand Milwaukee repair is in most cases if it has to do by this brushless tools not interesting anymore to repair or let it repair by milwaukee service only if there is garantee ,but for the end user only there are great new trade-in options and the garantee time should also be transparant and great.
Milwaukee will have repairs in ther own garantee and is not interesting in the between trade when its coming for repairs by others that likes it will ending by competition in service by garantee
as between the big brands mutually.

Where can I find M-18 1/4 " schematics ?

Very good tool and very much power a king but if there are parts neccesary then over warranty buy a new one its cheaper then repair in most cases. aware not be scare because a body is cheaper then the part whats the switch and motor stator in one modul it can sometime be more expensive then a whole new body Marketing technical decision ONLY ONE PARTNUMBER

How do I get the M18 light to turn off it stays on all The time

If it's the white work light ? Has someone worked on it recently ? Does the work light go off when pulling trigger? Are the forward and reverse switched ? It could be the blk and red wires on the brush card assembly are switched.

Where do the wires connect to on a lighted rocker switch using black white and green wires? I'm using the switch to power a work lamp.

Black is your hot wire, white is your common ground, and Green is your Ground. Be careful and make sure the switch is designed for A/C power

My Milwaukee m18 fuel impact wont work I hit the trigger and the light comes on but nothing happens

The first fuel impacts they made are very sensitive to water . Mine stopped instantly after some water flowed in around the head area.

Battery will not charge, both green and red light flashes, but never charges

Sounds like a new unit take it back where you purchased it and they will give you new one do not take no for an answer.

I have the m18 impact driver and i doesnt seem to be spinning as quickly and doesnt have the same power as when i bought it. it still works but not even close to the same.

The only reason a battery powered device slows down is that it's not getting the appropriate voltage from the battery. Your m18 has a lithium-ion battery that when topped off, and for what should be a good long work-period, deliver 18vdc to the motor. Unfortunately, some of the earlier m18 batteries have had some issues and are not fully charging. Some of this is due to improper charging, over heating, storage problems and physical damage.

Milwaukee utilizes a "smart battery" Digital Management System to monitor the "draw" on the battery to keep the user from frying the motor or overtaxing the battery. How hard to you use the tools...perhaps you should trade the stock compact versions for the XC (extra capacity) versions.

You don't say how long you've had these tools, but if you'll go back to the retailer you bought them from, you may be able to get replacement batteries there. Otherwise, check out the Milwaukee website. I think they came out with M18 XC "RED LITHIUM". I think this might be a replacement.

Nonetheless, Milwaukee offers a 2 year warranty on their batteries, so contact your retailer or Milwaukee directly.
