Control board problem. Unplug the dryer for 5 minutes to reset the control board. Plug the dryer in and start a cycle. If the code appears, replace the electronic control board.

Possible duct is clogged up some ..Typical of the circuit board. Sensing back flow air not flowing freely .. It is a multiple problem situation.. From a bad sensor in the exhaust to motor power not correct.. . try to disconnect dryer hose and run it with out for a few minutes.. But because of it beeing gas. Be cautious about monoxide poisoning.. Just a test run would be best..

This means dryer control board thinks your machine is locked--- to get it out of lock mode normally do this:

press and hold "Options" and "Select" at the same time until it unlocks

If it doesn't unlock within 20 seconds you have a bad control board and it needs to be replaced.

mybe the star button stay stuck and the dryer tinks some one is puching the star button and it will continio to run. try to open the door and it will stop and then clouse the door if the dryer star whitout pushing the star then you now the star switch is stuck. goo lock

I have the Frigidaire Affinity Washer and Dryer. A few weeks ago my Washer door switch went out I changes that with no problem. Now the Dryer has just stop quit working. Here are the symptoms on the ; 1>it's plug up and the power is fine 2> there is no errors on the panel 3> control operate fine. 4> close the door, set the controls, press start, No spinning. 5> when you press start you hear a buzzing sound for about 5 seconds, then nothing... AD is a indication of board problems.I would unplug the unit for 20 minutes to see if unit will reset

The error code E9E indicates that low voltage is being detected at the control board of the dryer.

This could be caused by the following factors:

* The electrical power supply to the dryer is bad. Check the dryer outlet for proper voltage (120 volts AC).
