If you look at the base of the blade at the bottom edge the is a black metal bar, push this in towards the blade and pull the nose of the blade away from the clipper.

Ok the silver metal plate goes on first then the black latch will connect to the hinge, there are two small holes either side of the latch where two spring ends poke through then simply screw it back on, not sure if you can put the blade drive on the wrong way.

Yep as simple as that just make sure they are a well recignised sharpener otherwise you will waste your money. You can rule out a clipper problem if other blades cut ok. Clipper Blade Sharpening

Instructions come in with a new drive assembly, basicly put the black end through under the metal frame first then push it down into place.

I have an andis dog clipper i need to replace the blade but cant remember how it is the one that does not have a release tab to easily remove the blade please help
Remove the screw in the back. Inside the blades will be precariously sandwiched together and held up by a vacilation plactic hammer packed with hair and whatnot. Carefully remove the components noticing where they were and how they were placed there and you should be able to slide the new on right in.

Ok if you take them appart don't touch the screws you will find it hard to re-align, if your blades haven't been sharpened for 5 years the i think its a very good place to start

sounds like the clipper blade needs sharpening!

check to make sure the blade is secure on the clipper first.
