Setting for 38 degrees in refrigerator section but goes below that, already checked that nothing is blocked, what else can I do? Model #596.7760

You're frozen up. Defrost completely. Then, clean your condenser. Make sure to never leave open containers in the fridge...water condenses into ice. If you still have problems, you may be low on gas.

Set the freezer temp control to MAX cold and see if it improves.
If not replace the off/on thermostat.(cold control)
