Ebay has been the cheapest and easiest for me. Ebay will have a better choice of equipment than Target, Walmart, or even a camera shop. Stores don't really tell you anything about what your looking for. With Ebay, the auction site explains what its selling, with photos to help you decide. But, if you have a large budget, go to anywhere that has camera stuff and buy what you need.

PROBLEM - Camera will not turn on at all regardless of battery used. Happened after about 8 months of use. Kodak instructed me to send the camera in of warranty repair. MCU was replaced. The unfortunate thing is that I have the same problem again, 7 months later and I am guessing it is not a warranty repair this time.

Here are the steps:
1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. Please use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher).
2. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera
3. Turn on your camera without the memory card.

There is a dead short somewhere within the battery holder, replaceing the battery will not fix it It will require intervention by a technician to uncover and fis the short circuit or bare wire. Check out the minimum repair cost and compare it to replacing with a newer model. It may well be throw away.
