I looked up same gun. I think I googled "binks model 2001 spray gun" and I got a pdf with all info and diagrams. On the available websites, I looked for the one that looked like official Binks site. The PDF # I got is 77-2316R-14.pdf. It shows that #7 o ring
Open it up and chaeck to see if you do have 5v and 12v in the power supply, check to see if you get the 12v all the way to the inverter circuits, also look for bad caps, see examples here: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Worked in paint repair shop for 18+ years. Every time we had that issue it was the wrong air cap. The particular model we always had trouble with was a Devilbiss JGA going from a pressurized system to a 1 quart cup. But the Devilbiss and Binks are quite similar. The air cap from the pressurized system would actually cause a reverse pressure in the cup. Both air caps were for this gun. Also the Devilbiss rep said they should be interchangeable. They weren't. Try a different air cap. I'm kind of curious so please let me know if this works for your Binks. Good luck!
I have exact same problem but mine happened to 2 of my x2gen monitors at the same time, really strange.
One was purchased 01/07 and the second 04/07
Took my PC in, no problems
Took one of the x2gen in,was told monitor is bad
How could both monitors go bad at the same time???????
well you dont open the Monitor for these because it usually Voids the warranty.
and as far as Parts for the Monitor are concerned they will not be available seperately.
you will have to service/Replace the Monitor.
