How can i check my voice mail on nec dterm 80 phone

SOURCE: NEC DTerm 80

Try dialing the numbers 725 and then hang up...to turn it off..same thing. Ours works this way at work.

SOURCE: NEC Dterm 80 LCD display is defective.

The common thing on this style of phone is the silver ribbon cable that connects the display to the main circuit board comes loose after being dropped or knocked around and needs to be reinserted. You will need to open up the phone to do this. If this is not the solution then you will either need to purchase a used phone, send it in for repair or use another phone to take parts from.

SOURCE: NEC Dterm 80 calls won't go to voice mail

for us i just found this out.

1.Fwd B/NA
2.1 - 1:set-0:cancel
4.200
5.speaker
after 4 rings it goes to voicemail
this works for us.
i hope it works for others too.

turn this feature off
1.hit fwd b/na
2.0:cancel
3.exit
4.exit
should see the normal display then.

If its an intergraded VM,, somply dial the main Voicemail number from that phone

Press speaker, 43, xxx, speaker. "xxx" is the number of your company's message box, if you know that.
