It is against the law to refill unit without a EPA license and without searching for and repairing the leak. Once cannot buy most R22 without a license.

If you don't know what your doing then leave it alone. you could get hurt badly if you hook something up wrong. if the unit is not working then there has to be a vacuum pulled on the unit then you would be ready to install R22. if you overcharge the unit it will damage the compressor and that is not cheap to fix.

Some HVAC 'experts' install coil lines without a pressure outlet. (ecspecially older units) In which case, you will have to install one. Usually they are located outside very close to the compressor unit on the inflow copper line. If not present, you can chase the lines back to the cooler head in the furnace/cooling unit plenum. It would be visible at some point in the lines if it was installed in the first place.

Which gas are refill in 210 whirlpool fridge

Hello Arushdeep Singh,

I have tried to find a "210" whirlpool,..

Sadly only finding some vague references to a
17 cubic foot OLD TIME refrigerator... (?).

The good news: If indeed you are speaking of
an "OLD TIME" unit more than 3o years ago
your gas is Freon R22...

The bad news is that is BANNED and your
choices are varied... interesting and all fairly
expensive.... (hideously expensive).

~~

Sorry that is all I can relate on a MODEL 210.

(Lot of R22 scams going on out there... be careful).
((of course)).

30 pound canisters sell for under $800 US Dollars.

Unit was charged w/ 10.6 OZ of R22 and don't seem to be working very good?

About 61 PSIG or 33 Degrees F. If you look at the gauge on your refrigeration manifold it will give you the numbers. What is Max, it changes with temperature and humidity and without very involved controls the absolute max will not be realized over the normal ambient operating range. Good Luck

Is there a universal gauge set for all types refrigerant

The most common manifold are only for r-12 and R134A. Because of the pressure differences between that and R22 and R-410A ( and the manufactors make more money by keeping the types of manifolds seperate). I haven't seen a universal manifold that would cover all types freon.

How do i hook my manifold gauges to my residental condensing unit to check pressures

The AC manifold gauges set have the three chambers: the low pressure chamber (left side), utility chamber (middle), and the high pressure chamber (right side).

When technicians connect the HVAC manifold gauge to the air conditioner units, he connects the low pressure side of air conditioner unit to low pressure gauge side.

If he wants to read the pressure in discharge line he connects the high pressure gauge hose to the air conditioner high pressure side.

The utility port (the middle chamber) is a place you connect the hose to vacuum pump, recovery units or add or remove refrigerant from AC units.

Air conditioning gauges is used to measure air conditioner units pressure within closed-system to evaluate or troubleshoot the AC units. Gauges manifold set is the most frequently used item when it comes to refrigerant or pressure.

Air conditioning gauge set allows the HVAC technician to check AC units operating pressures, transfer AC refrigerant, pressure test system, purge the system with nitrogen, and perform other necessary tasks.

The gauges manifold set includes the hoses, the manifold, the valves, the compound gauge (low pressure gauges) and high pressure gauge.

What could be the problem my AC blow fine while im driving. But when I stop it began to blow hott wat could be the problem.

You are low on Refrigerant either R22 or R134A depending on what was used. If it is R134A you can get a refill can and gauge at Walmart, if it is R22 you are most likely going to have to convert your system since R22 is not available for sale to do it your self type folks.

Does not cool room.

Goldstar WG5000 air conditioners use an R22 refrigerant. A charge kit containing the gauges needed to properly fill the unit, and the refrigerant tank/cartridge can be purchased to fill the air conditioner.

Everything works on the unit but it does not get cool

You can purchase a bullet piercing valve port to install the refrigerant your unit takes. Refrigerant is available; however, some are much more expensive than others and it is necessary to use the exact type of refrigerant your unit was designed for. The prices of R12 and R22 are astronomical. If your window unit uses either of these two refrigerants, you would be well advised to invest your money in a new unit rather than repair what you have.

Though this is probably not news you wanted to hear, I hope the information is very helpful to your decision-making, moving forward. :-)

Dometic Quick Cool compressor freezing and evaporator coil

Could be low. First check air filter, air flow, and evap coil to see if it has restricted airflow. If all seems well, its probably low. The specs will tell you what type and how much refigerant. To access system, you will need a gauge/manifold set, refrigerant, and a piercing or line tap valve for the low pressure side of the system. Of course, first, you need to locate and repair the refrigerant leak.

How to hookup refrigerent gauges to central air?

Outside in the condensing unit you'll see the two copper pipes coming from the valves in the condensing unit. atach the hose from the high pressure gauge to the port in the smaller copper pipe (liquid line) and the other hose to the port of the other line (suction line) in there you check the low pressure (68psi) and if is low you can rechrge it, in the high side you should have no much more than 250psi .This pressures are for R22.
