Hi , just access the monitor on-screen display (OSD) menu and ensure Monitor input mode is configured for HDMI ( Asus speak the " desired input source" ) - Input select is accessed under tv with arrow icon : change from vga to hdmi
You need to lower your PS3 video resolution to the native resolution of this monitor, it is too high right now taht is why your are getting the message on the screen.
Start PS3 with lower resolution and go upfrom there.
first problem could be the hdmi cable you are using is loose or broken.second, the display mode you selected was wrong, try to go to desktop and right click and choose nvdia control panel and choose the nview display mode to use, select the only use one display(single)and apply.
Sounds like the HDMI port on the monitor has been shorted out.
There are very small fuses on the video board that can be changed, but they are fiddly and you may end up doing more harm then good if you are not sure what your doing.
The fuses are actually soldered to the board...it's not a case of pop one out and pop one in like the glass type.
