Showing distorted red toned images

To find out if what is causing this problem. please shoot some pictures and view them on a computer. If the photos have distorted colours on the computer too, the cause is in the sensor.
If the look good on the computer, the cause is the monitor on your camera. Can be caused by lots of different things, like a broken cable, a defect on the display itself, caused after someone dropped the camera and so on.
If you can live with a "damaged" screen, you still could make pictures. If the sensor is defect, consider a new camera. Cameras are becoming better and better and in the same time they become cheaper.

Videos turned into photos

It happens to me very often that I forgot to press the "record" botton while I looked at the screen and did some adjusting thinking that I had recorded the wonderful moments. If the memory card is the only storage device and if one video actually shows up there you might have done the same thing I did very often. One of my recorders always give me that bonus one screen shot for each video file.

I have a glow or a shadow around everything I watch...I tried the converse blue but i dont know if i did it right bc it didnt work...how can I fix that?

CRT Fluid is Cloudy

Projection TV tubes have a liquid coolant that is used to keep them from overheating. After many years the coolant in the blue and green tubes will become cloudy and cause the screen to look dull, red/orange, etc. You may even see halos around images.

Picture of a set that needs the fluid changed. Notice how dull the colors are and how white the screen looks. The screen may also look red, orange, dull, etc.

TV set after fluid change. Notice how bright the colors are now. Everthing looks crisp and sharp again.

What you will need to do is replace the coolant and clean the crt. You can get a repair kit from www.TvRepairKits.com that includes replacement coolant, photos. instructions, etc.

Canon showing black screen

needs to go in to a camera shop for repair, either the shutter is broken in the lens or the CCD is bad...could be more than that but, It would have to get disassembled to determine that. I work on Olympus cameras and have found that sometines it's easier to let someone with a box of spare parts fix it...

Unwanted neon-esque colors

the color depends on the light, therefore it could be possible to happen if u use diferent kinds of ilumination. that isn´t a problem is just the camera limits.
