I Believe this model has an options button with codes by numbers which are 1 thru 6 I believe. Either 1 or 2 are sound. So hit the options button and hit the number 1 it should say (sound), Then you will hit 1 again a.k.a. mute, and no more beep beep beep. If 1 is not sound then you may have accidently created a small but deadly emp, so hit stop and you must hit options and then hit 2.
dead fish smell ( under the frig there is a cond pan that collects water from the defrost . whirlpool has some tabs that you can put in pan/ it helps .. I would put a cup of bleach in pan every 3 months . and if you can find the drain inside the freezer add it thorugh the drain . algae builds up in drain and plugs it . mm
you need to make sure you have power comeing out of your wall socket first. then let me know. also is any of your lights on your display lite up?????? control lock?????
OK, if you are certain that the unit is receiving a power current, this
will most defiantly confirm a major chip fault in in the main control
board.
Try to wake the control by cutting the power to the unit for 5 minutes.
if the damage isn't severe, this will either, reset the program or,
render and error code. if both do not appear and the control remains
blank or dead, after the reset, replace the main control board.
I had this same problem so I took the front panel off to access the thermal fuse. What I found instead was that food had become lodged in the door latch which was keeping the door safety switch from operating properly. I took a thin screwdriver and removed the food from the cavity. Since you did not have the problem in your first five years the cavity just might be the problem since that is about the amount of time it took me to get too much food stuck in mine as well. This solution took five seconds and requires no disassembly.
possible electronics failure. my HE4t has completly gone dead at the control panel after displaying error codes. A class action law suite is in the works on the HE3t HE4t machines.
