Question about Arris WR850GP Router

Why is my modem light orange?

My modem light on my wr850g will wither be a straight orange light or a blinking light that alternates between green and orange.

I would tend to think this is a problem with your gaming server or your ISP. Check with your game forum or your ISP:they will have logs that can tell what's going on. Does this happen when surfing the net, or only when gaming? The RAID issue should be easy to resolve. You probably have a RAID controller on your motherboard, and the driver is missing. It's not a big deal if you're not using RAID, but the driver will be available from your computer maker or your motherboard manufacturer. RAID: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID

It depends. Have you checked the Netgear support site for FAQ and the manual. In some routers, orange lights indicate wired 100Mbps connections while green indicates 1000Mbps. In other cases, blinking lights indicated that the router is 'bricked'.

My router is connected to my modem and instead of a green right its an orange light it was working yesterday..i tried unplugging it and then using the click to fix button but it remains orange and tells me...

it just can be ISP issue (may be internet service provider is down )
you might want to restart the modem then router and wait for like 1 min this Belkin router blinking orange to green.

Just follow these steps and let's see if they work for you. restart the modem (DSL modem or ISP device) and restart the router.

The wireless light is orange and blinking on a Belkin F6D4230-4 router: the wireless is not working

Belkin router is blinking orange is simple but there can be many more reason behind that light code.

1 It just can be ISP issue (maybe internet service provider is down )
2 you might want to restart the modem then router and wait for like 1 min this Belkin router blinking orange to green.

Modem light is blank on motorola wr850g, how do i fix?

If the modem light is not turning ON,
1) check if the modem is ON
2) check if the ethernet connection is properly made
3) check if the port on the modem is working, confirm it by connecting it straight to the computer.
4) check if the ethernet cable is working fine.
5) Then try power cycling the router. Unplug the power cable and connect in back after 20-30 secs.
6) Then try pressing and holding the reset for 20 secs.
7) Finally connect a single ethernet cable from any LAN port to WAN port and check if the modem light is ON.
Ultimately, if even after this step, if the light doesn't turn up, either the modem LED would have gone bad or the WAN part of the router would have gone bad.

Error lights

Dear mary,
Blinking in Orange/Green or jus Orange is one of error indicator of canon inkjet printer. You need to specify how many times it blinks to get more help. Find how to identify error indicator here. Read more article there and you will get what I mean.

the problems are :-

cartridges are not recognised or installed
there is a paper jam.

Cant connect to the internet

red light means moden is out of sync with the isp. Power cycle. by unpluging the power from the back of yoru modem, unplug Your router and also turn off your computer. Turn on your modem frist wait until all lights are green>If they dont turn green. CHeck your cables. make sure telephone line is plugged into it or cable line. . There should be a cable pluged in from your modem to your wan port. Then from your router to your computer. Is this a wired or wireless connection. If its a wireless connection i need to know what what os your using. so i can help you set it up.
