It sounds like you have a bad DMD chip, so the board containing this chip needs to be replaced. Best to call 1-800 SAMSUNG for an estimate on this part.

Samsung flatscreen tv model LN46C600F3FXZX has sound but no picture

Video section has become compromised and no longer functional. Audio being separate from the Video may work perfectly, but the Video portion sustained damage to the circuit board or the inline safety diode blew. If any parts of the Circuit Board fail, you need to replace the mainboard. The cost to generally fix a circuit board is usually more than the replacement cost for a new unit. Check all fuses or circuit limiters inside the TV and if there are no shorts, burned parts, or obvious smells on the mainboard, transient current may have trickled in and damaged sensitive electronics. Have a professional Technician do tests to locate the source of the problem.

there are a number of possible reasons. Could be bad capacitors or reasons like the one described here (involved replacing a chip) or many other things.. Better have it checked by a professional or give us a better description of the problem to narrow things down.

Check the internet. Most likely a series of cheap capacitors. Replace them all (the ones that match the culprit). ~.20 each US.

It sounds that the main digital board to your TV is damaged. It will be best to get this set repaired by the authorised service center for Samsung, because, the work is a skilled one, need so many service adjustments after the board replacement.

Connect cables from your flatscreen TV (or monitor?) to the receiver's audio input jacks. These could be two RCA, white and red, or Digital (one single RCA cable), or optical, if both the flatscreen and the receiver have such connector. Make sure you select the correct audio input on the receiver to amplfy the sound from the game/movie/etc.
If successful, try muting the TV's audio, to prevent the sound from creating a hollow (echo) effect.
