This could be one of many things, the best thing to do if you want to find out for free is take it to a computer repair shop and ask for an estimate for repair, usually all estimates are free.. however do ask!
before taking it there do try changing the fuse in the plug for the power supply if possible...

Check to make sure all the buttons are bouncy and not stuck down. If all the buttons seem OK then it may be broken and you will need to replace it. Try a USB keyboard to make sure the laptop is still working correctly.
really need a model number to see if it has a reset button but underneath the laptop right in the middle the ze series laptop does have a reset use a paper clip hold it in for 7 seconds,, if no reset button remove battery, unplug from power supply, wait ten muinutes, plug back in, and reinstall battery. ,,,hope this helped
