Print Failure HP 6110 -When I send a command to print, it seems that it's beginning to print but just pulls the paper through without printing.

    It doesn't print the test page either. There's nothing wrong with the file. I disconnected the 6110 and connected a small printer and the file prints fine. The problem is in the 6110 itself.

Try printing a different application or file, try printing a test page form the printer itself does it print an internal test page? then the file has a problem.

Issue : installing Cartridge on HP 6110 Printer
Printer :Desk jet HP 6110
Analysis : it seems that you are trying for Replacing the print cartridges
Solution : Please try the following steps to replace which is very simple and easy. The most important part is to understand and then apply without fear..
1) Turn on the power of the printer
2) Lift the print carriage access door on the front of the unit
Observe : the print carriage will move into the middle of the access area.
3) Release the cartridge to be replaced by pressing down lightly on the top of the carriage latch (You Need to Press Of force Single finger on the top of the Carriage Latch) and then pulling the lower section of the latch forward. Lift the latch.
4) Grasp the sides of the ink cartridge and pull the cartridge out to remove it.
5) NOW by
Holding the cartridge with the printed label up, slide the cartridges, one at a time, into the print carriage.
Insert the black print cartridge (HP 56) into the right side (with the gray latch) and the tri-color print cartridge (HP 57) into the left side (with the blue latch).
6) Latch the cartridge by pulling the lower section of the latch forward and pressing the latch down. When the latch is down, release the lower portion of the latch so that it catches under the tabs. Do not use force or damage might occur.
7) Close the print cartridge access door..

Now check the by running a test print

Click Start , click Settings , and then click Printers .
Right-click the all-in-one print icon and click Properties
On the General tab of the Printer properties, click the Test Page option.

Try the above steps hope the best out of it

How to set a printer to print only 1 copy no matter what # is put

You cannot do it -- when you request '3' copies, the computer sends 3 times as much text & commands to the printer. So, the printer cannot tell when the 2nd and 3rd copy begins.

6110 Printer does not print but everything else works

Try a complete uninstall:

Unplug the USB cable from your PC.
Go to Start> Control panel> Add or Remove programs. and delete all the entries you see for HP.( If it promts a restart do not restart now)
Then open my computer> C:drive> Program files> and delete the HP Folder only (not Hewlett Packard)
Then Open C:drive> Program files> Common Files and then delete HP and Hewlett Packard folder.
Then Go to C:Drive> Windows> Temp and empty the temp folder as much as you can.
Then go to Recycle bin and empty recycle bin.
Then Insert the All-In-One CD and cancel the installation process.
Open the content of the CD> and open Util folder> Then CCC> Then click on Uninstall_L4 and follow the on screen process.

After all restart the computer.

And if possible download the software from HP website:

Click on Download Only and then foloow the on screen setps to install the printer>

If possible try changing USB cable might be a issue with the USB cable as well, as you are able to make copy and fax, Hope it works with the new cord.

print a test page from the printer settings page.

that should have text and graphics
