Hpw to change font type & size in tally 7.2

go to the fonts menu and click on the button to reduce fonts or set a particular font size from the fonts menu

on any pc if you get error "insufficient height to allocate".. then just set the dpi of your pc/laptop to 100%, (you can adjust dpi from display settings) and try to use tally, this might solve ur problem.
if the above doesn't solve ur problem, then go to screen resolution setting and select 800 x 600 resolution. this might solve ur problem to most extent.
if still u are facing the prob then go to display setting of windows and reduce the font size of menu, message box, active title bar, non-active title bar and etc... reduce fonts of all..

You can easily change the font size. Follow the given steps

1.Press menu 2.Select settings 3.Select display and light 4.Select font type 5.Select which you want from the given option and list 6.Save and exit.

There is an Utility in your Windows.

If you insist i show you but it may be risky Overriding your Original Fonts..

Press WinKey + R it will start Run.

Enter "EUDCEDIT" w/o ' " ' and press enter an Hidden Windows Font Utility will appear.

Select the Fonts you want and override it to "Times New Roman"

All the Fonts in Tally uses Default System Fonts.

The process is slightly complicated ...

1. You need to install a FONT which supports tally marks...

You can get one from http://www.subtangent.com/maths/resources/tally.zip

Download the zip file and extract the ttf file and put in C:\Windows

2. Now you need to convert your numbers like this

1 to 1
..
..
6 to 51
7 to 52
..
..
11 to 551
and so on
which you can do using a formula like

=REPT(5,INT(A1/5))&MOD(A1,5)
in cell B1 with your number in A1

Now put this in C1
=B1

Copy the formulas in B1 & C1 down if you many numbers...

Now choose the TALLY FONT for Column C

It's little complicated but let me know if you can't solve with this.. I am doing a research on this..

to increase the font size in the printing cheque is just simple go on to (or) press F!! key on the cheque printing option will available on there on the give yes . and then some kind of list will available on there on the list read the sentence one by one the font increasing size is available on there give the correct font size as a number for example (60)

if you want change page setting in your printer ..... to get the all settings of your printer press font button and switch on the printer (before take setting make sure that you printer loaded with paper ) goes through the instruction printed in the paper to change the settings ........ change paper size.....



you can map your tally printer paper size in system .....go to printer and faxes ... file..>server properties ...>select create a new from ...> change the name as you wise and change the paper setting and click ok ........


while you give print change paper size to your created paper size and check

you have to change to a different font type to change the size
You can use this method to change the Font size; from the standby screen; press menu, settings, display & light, font type, select desired font type, then press save.

at the desktop right click and go to the properties. Go to the settings tab. then change the screen resolution.
