Question about Refrigerators
Have this older frig with freezer on the bottom. Freezer is fine and stays cold but twice now the frig compartment has quit cooling. The other day when I had given up on frig compartment ever cooling awhile back I came home and found water in the garage floor and all and opened the frig and it was cold again. That lasted about 4 days and now it is warm again.
Sounds like a intermittent problem with the defrost timer. Sometimes they get stuck. Check continuity of the defrost heater and defrost thermostat. If both are good then replace the defrost timer, that should solve the problem.

Is your fan blowing in the freezer? Frost on the back wall of the freezer usually indicates a defrost problem... defrost themostate, heaters, take back panel off and check evap for frost build up and if your fan in working.
