HP had lots of issues in the past with faulty power Jack. If you are inclined, you can also removed the motherboard and test the fuses to see if one is blown ( use a multimeter to see if there is one that does not allow power to pass thru). Otherwise you will need a new motherboard. It might also be the power button module that is not working or the cable that goes from your power button to your motherboard is either loose or disconnected. Let's go back to your motherboard if you plug in your laptop and the battery light does not come on even if battery is inserted, then the problem is with the motherboard.

plz try by resitting the ram if you dont know how to open the laptop then i will suggest you to take it to repair shop.

wireless button (or slider one) is located in the front key pad .
or if not then find the wireless Logo around the Laptop then just turn it on.

hi,
if nothing(even hp logo ) is not coming on the display then please try this.
1.remove the battery and then press the power button for 30 sec.Again refix it and check.
2.If windows sound is there then this mught be the issue with display.
3.If there is no windows sound might be the issue with RAM so please get it checked.

Try downloading this (The audio driver)
If that does not work, go to control panel and to "Audio devices and sound themes", Right-click on a empty spot in the window that pops up, and choose "Show disabled devices" and "Show disconncted devices", if you see a icon that is called internal speakers or speakers..something similar. You have to right-click it, and choose Use as default.
