Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T1 Digital Camera
I have bought the T1 for over 3 years. Last week when I opened it, I found the views become blurry. At the bottom of the screen it appeared SAF. Do not understand what is SAF and what is the problem. Also lens problems?
Sony fixed it for free - it was the CCD as posted by t00nz.

I got the same problem..... Thanks for the post! But does anyone know where the Serial Number is on the camera? I don't have the box anymore......

I had a problem with my CCD imager and you are right Sony fixxed it in less than 2 weeks for free. Thanks Thanks Thanks

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Sony should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following link for more info:

Replace the Sanyo I.C. chip on the heat sink of the power supply convergence board STK730-XXX. Last 3 could be 130/010/020, any will work.
