When you open contacts go to the menu and select "manage contacts". Select option to backup contacts. Chose where you want to back them up to. I recommend backup to SD if possible so if your phone gets damaged or dies you still have your contacts. When you need to put them back in the phone just import them from where you backed them up.

As i have noticed that there no possible way by which you can copy your
