No, you shouldn't clean your CD/DVD player lenses with contact lens solution. It is inappropriate to put contact lens cleaning on the CD/DVD player's lens because it is made for the delicate surface of the eye. A CD/DVD player's lens can become harmed and malfunction if contact lens cleaning is applied to it.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a cleaning solution made especially for CD DVD players to clean the lens if necessary.

Whether this is a stand alone dvd player or an optical drive on your computer it may need to be cleaned. If it's a laptop where you can see the lense as you pull out the tray that'll be easy to clean: use a lint free/low lint cloth or paper towel or qtip and put a few drops of clear rubbing on the cloth or qtip and gently clean the lense. If the lense can not be seen you'll a lense cleaning disc and cleaning solution (aka rubbing alcohol). this could be aproblem with the lens which is unable to read the disk. this could be caused by accumulation of dirt on the disk sensor. open up the cover of the dvd player to access the lense and clean gently with a lense cleaner(a liquid purposely meant for cleaning the lense) apply this liquid on a soft piece of cloth and clean. close back the cover and power the dvd player it should now be able to load the disk

First purchase disk cleaner disk from nearest computer shop then put it in dvd then play it so it clean dust from dvd lense.
If still it not read disk then you have to change dvd lense.
If your dvd is in warrenty take it to service centre and they replaced lense and repair it.

It is your lense related issue.
You can clean your lense with disk cleaner disk purchase disk cleaner disk and put in dvd rom then play it.then it clean your lense.
But if still problem remains then your lense has issue.
So if your dvd rom in warrenty then take it to service center and replaced it .
It is is not in warrenty then you need to repair or replaced lense.

then put it into combo drive then play it then it clean your lense then check .
If still not access your dvd then if it is in warrenty go to service shop they replaced it.

using the lense cleaner cd.This will be available

Ya, it does sound like the lense is dirty. To clean it you can pick up a cleaning CD or DVD. It basically will clean your lense while it plays. You can find them at bestbuy or circuit city. The CD actually has a brush on it and will wipe the dust from the lense while the disk plays. Keep me posted. If you thought this solution was helpful please rate it when you get a chance.
