Are any of the lights coming on? If so, are any flashing, and if so, how many times or is it constant? Check to make sure the freewheel lever is not bumped which will cause a no-go status. Put in freewheel and place firmly back in drive (located at the rear of the scooter).

Go back in and make sure all of the snap connections are tight. Undo them and redo them, don't rely on a visual inspection. Check the circuit breaker; push it in to reset. If it has tripped, you will feel a click when you push. Check all the fuses.

Where can i get brushes for pride hurricane in uk

I would contact pride or a service centre as if you put the wrong grade of brush in the motor you can damage the comm and motor.

The motors are not cheap.

Speed control on Pride Hurricane

hi, the speed control could be faulty, see if you can spray some Wd40 or contact cleaner in the gap and see if that improves things...is it the one with the snail , rabbit speed sign ?

one bar on the indicator does imply low battery power ...is it flashing ? if it is then that's a fault condition

Scooter keeps stopping randomly. The battery level near to the speed lever drops quickly to red, scooter stops. Turn it off then on again and fine for a bit - then same happens?

These units are 24 volt systems. If the voltage at the controller drops below 18 volts the controller will cut out. Shutting the unit off and back on resets the controller. Since your battery gauge is dropping into the red when accelerating your batteries are suspected to be bad. If the batteries LOAD test fine then check your battery harness and circuit breaker wiring for a loose and / o r hot connection after riding it.

I have a Pride Mobility Hurricane PMV, None of the left side signals, or parking lights work. I think I have it down to the console board. I have 12 volts going in but nothing when I activate the left...

Hoping your problem is in the wiring to and from , or the light itself , usualy when the board goes , nothing works... make sure you test every contact point for juice to and from , before you discard the possibility...!!!!

My Pride Hurricane PMV will not go forward or backwards when I engage the trottle all I get is a click but it will not move. The battery meter shows fully charged.

Make sure that the manual brake release/freewheel lever is in the DRIVE position. The click indicates the brakes are being released but the motors are not kicking in. I hope this helps- good luck!

No forward, only backward

Hi. If the light flashes 7 times, it has a speed controll fault. It might be the throttle lever ( wig wag ), or it might be the speed pot that controls your top speed.
Try moving the throttle lever ends up and down while you are driving the machine. Doing this wont fix it, but it will highlight the problem, if the throttle lever is faulty. Also try moving the speed pot back and forward a few times.
Good luck. Neil.
