Why am I suddenly unable to download most pics directly?

Use any system optimization utility and does a scan and repair. i recommed Advanced system care.
try to clear the start menu cache. if the problem still persist then go to
Control Panel\Programs and enable windows search. now restart the pc.

It is quite possible that while you were 'mucking' around, you may have changed some setting that should have remained unchanged.

Rather than trying to figure out & undo everything you've done, I'd recommend restoring your computer to a previous point in time (using System Restore) to before it was 'broken'.

To get into System Restore:
1) go into the Win 7 Control Panel,
2) click System,
3) click System Protection,
4) click System Protection tab,
5) click System Restore.
6) select an appropriate Restore Point.

in your case there is a supply fault..capacitor of power board is weak .kindly change the capacitor ..the sign of capacitor faulty is that capacitor is blow up like oil is coming out form upper side..kindly do the need ful.dnt use the lcd until the problem fixed.

I simply returned the camera to Best Buy and asked for another one after describing the problems I had with it. I have not had any issues with the replacement camera....

you need to change the resolution of screen. you must keep it at high resolution for clear view.

How about trying with its internal speakers ?
if it works fine then the sound output jack-port have a problem.
If not working then try to re-install your audio drivers.
If still not having good result even if you re-install your operating system, you should go to repair center since you have a hardware failure.

Copy the existing photos on to your PC, switch off the camera. Remove the SD card and format the SD-card using a SD-card reader, this will clear all the card contents. Now try using it in your Camera again. Ideally, you should be able to save photos on this SD card. Other way would be to insert another SD card into your camera and click photos and check whether those photos are being saved into the SD card(this can be done using display option in your digicam.)

Check your pics on the computer. Are they still dark? If they're OK then problems in camera's display.

possibly go to the menu, and go to quality, if it isnt set on fine, then change it,or, set your scene on auto, so if the pic is fast moving, it can adjust to take clearer pics. otherwise i am of no help.
