There are different opinions, and every circumstance has its own considerations which the Judge is bound by law to evaluate.
I sincerely hope, and have to believe, that the newly appointed Judge is qualified to exercise the requirements of the law.
From your question, I am unclear as to whether you are a probation "officer" (possible mis-spelling) or are seeking probation for a specific person.
In either case, it is important that you communicate your personal opinion to the Judge should you decide to proceed.

You should contact the office, where you want to make an appointment. Fot that you can use a phone, an email, or even a letter by the post, as long as you use the correct phone number, correct e-mail address ir the office address when you want to send a letter by mail.

Called the recall dept. for Sears. Have an appointment set up for two weeks.Gave them my serial number and model number. The said if the parts show up prior to the two week time frame...call them and we could re-schedule the appointment.

Try cleaning the screen with a soft wipe and if that doesn't work your touch screen digitizer needs to be replaced (~$200). Is it a 3G? If so I would schedule an appointment at the Apple store to get it replaced.
