The TV cuts off frequently. The screen is blank & no sound.
The screen will go black and sound goes off for 5-15 seconds and then comes back on. It will come back on by itself after the blackout. Sometimes it will happen every 5-10 minutes and other times it will not do it for 30 - 45 minutes.

It is probable you have a poor soldered connection on the power supply board, hence the erratic timing of the TV going on & off. If you are competent with a soldering iron look for dry jointed soldering on the board. If not have a service engineer take a look at it for you.
