Why is a scotsman scv32 wine refrigerator freezing up

Sounds like the refrigerant is not getting to the mold body to freeze the water. Probably low in the system . Requires a repairman.

carefully adjust the ice bridge thickness screw at the top no more than 1/8 of a turn counterclockwise in between freeze cycle until desired thickness is obtained. clockwise gets thicker and counterclockwise thinner.

rotated the ice bridge adjustment screw clockwise about a 1/8 turn in between freeze cycles. thich direction makes the ice thicker.

First check to make sure condenser fan is running during freeze cycle. Now check to make sure condenser coil is clean. Her is all the specks on the machine.

turn ice bridge thickness screw clockwise to thicken and counterclockwise to get thinner. Do not turn anymore than about 1/8 turn between freeze cycles. the adjustment screw is very finicky and requires patience in setting properly. the distance from the bridge thickness gauge to freeze platen is approximately 1/4 - 5/16 of an inch.

Most likely water inlet valve. When they get stuck open water continuously flows in preventing it from from freezing and therefore the controller thinks it's running and not getting cold enough so it cuts off on refrigeration. It will cut off on water if no water is detected.

Viking wine coolers are made by Marvel.They all had issues with freezing the contents. If you replace the electronic cold control system it will be fine.If you don't, it will freeze the wine popping the corks and leaking in the unit.If you get the parts from Marvell they are much cheaper.
