Here is possible fix.
Understand and be warned that doing the following may damage the camera even more, but if it does not work, then it may be worth the try.

Get a towel, fold it and lay it on a table. With the camera turned off and at an angle so that it will hit on one corner, hit the camera on it's edge on the towel. Not too hard, but do it with enough pressure so that the camera may come back by shaking up the internal connections.
Try to turn it on again, try a couple more times if the first is not successful.
What this does is to cause the internal connections and parts be shaken to such a degree as to make possible connections work again.
You have (in my experiments) about a 30 percent chance that this will work and cause the camera to come back as it did before.

If this does not work, the camera is only good for parts or repair.
Possibly to be sold on a site such as Ebay as is or for parts or repair.

At the power on the display is looked "welcome" and no operation is possible.I have controlled the HD and the DVD (I am a expert of electronics device). Is not possible shutdown the recorder...

Dear Cauci

I haven't a final solution for our problem. But I found a problem in the power supply. If you disconnect the CD-drive from the internal power supply and then connect to an external power supply, the recorder starts up normally.

Maybe it's help you. Please let me know, if you find a really solution.

Hi, Here is the procedure on how to play the video clip on your camera. Play mode If you have turned on the camera by pressing the POWER button, you can press the PLAY MODE button once to switch to Play mode and press it again to switch to Recording mode. When I turn my recorder on it will only stay on a few seconds and then turns off and goes back to stand by mode. Any suggestion?

Sounds Like a Power supply fault....If you have no expirence in fixing things the best thing to do is to take it back to the supplier if it is under warranty if it is out of warranty then take it to a local service centre...but if you feel compentent enough to fix it yourself you need to open up the unit (follow warnings and remeber to disconnect from mains power) and find the Power supply section which should be at the back right hand of the unit ( normally were to power cord comes into the unit) and you need to test that the front panel power switch is not shorting causing it to turn on then turn off again....there could be some goo on the contacts of the switch this is quite common. more than likely this unit uses a relay to activate the power supply when the front button or the remote power is pressed...check that relay with a multi-meter on its contacts make sure it is not shorted (it should be open if the unit is not working and shorted when the unit is turned on)..if it is still faulty then take it to a service center as it will take to long to explain on here where to go next but it might have something to do with the remote control switching or could be something wrong with an controler IC.....hope this helps, ben
