I was playing online when the console shut down and the light on the front started blinking red. when i try to turn the console on the green light comes on and then turns yellow and then goes back to blinking red. the game i was playing is also stuck inside the console.

• Remove any obstructions from the vents.
• Allow at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides for the PLAYSTATION 3.
• Remove the PLAYSTATION 3 from any cabinets so it is out in the open.
• Shut the PLAYSTATION 3 down completely and let it cool down to room temperature, then try running it again.
• If the fan cannot be heard before the system shut down, the PLAYSTATION 3 may need to be sent in for service.
• If there is no airflow from any of the vents, the system may need to be sent in for service
