hi : about the stockwell safe ex200----- 2535-EA
if the safe still has charged batteries you can deactivate any sceurity code by access through a small hole on the rear of the safe, if you can get to the rear area of the safe.. You need a long screwdriver to reach to the inside of the front of the door . Their is a reset button on the inside of the door in the lower right corner area( "B" button) on the end - not on the flat face surface of the door but on the vertical face( hing plate). You'll have to feel around and push the screwdriver sideways to push the button in.it will beep . YAHOO- YUH DID IT !!!. Then you can reset your own code.if you need further instructions call me . icq. 33819110 or [email protected]
SOURCE: safe won't accept the code and the keys are lost
Without the keys and safe code you will need to call a locksmith. Even then they might be skeptical about opening the safe for you. There should not be any "backdoor" way of opening the safe for security reasons otherwise it defeats the reason for having the safe. I would contact the safe manufacturer for further instructions or you will need to cut open the safe if the locksmith and manufacturer cannot help you.
SOURCE: gordon item#45891 digital safe, lost code the door is open
there is red button on the inside of the door (hinge side) press this , then key in a new code
SOURCE: I bought a Safewell SE
The red button is on the inside of the safe. It is on the back of the door. Usually by the hinges
I read this elsewhere. it's worth a try...
"I had the same problem, batteries dead and i could not find the keys. I read on the internet that if you get a hairdryer, and heat up the front of the safe where the keypad is and where the spare key goes in this will work, i thought anything is worth a try. So i held the hairdryer there for a bout 15 mins and what happens is the heat slowly boosts the battery life, enabling you to open the safe. You will notice that you start to get a beep noise from the key pad. even though i was getting a beep from the pad it didnt open straight away but after about 10 mins i retried the code and it worked. Make sure you replace the batteries immediately before closing the safe again "
