Because "It" doesn't Like You! LOL OK really you have a bad Ignitor. It is the device that makes that "Clicking" sound. Though rare, they do fail. So you can replace it.

JGBS20BEW2AD, the stove top four cooking burner constantly clicks.

The igniter switch(s) has most likely failed shorted. Fairly common with gas ranges with spark ignition.

Hello - I ran out of propane - How do I light the ignition?

Your range is electric ignition and should not require any relighting. There may be air in the line and can be purged at the cook top burners. Just turn the burner knob on until it starts clicking and let it click until the burner ignites. The oven and broiler will then light normally.

Clicking on stove top will not stop

Unplug the stove top for a few days, and let the burner switches dry out. Sometimes this is caused by moisture getting into the switches from a boil over, or from someone cleaning the stove top. If your unit still sparks after a few days then you will have to replace the bad burner switch, or switches. I am assuming that you are talking about a cook top that is sparking all the time, and not about a cooktop that is sparking, even after the burner lights. If your burner is still sparking after it lights, you usually have a bad spark module. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

Burners on top will not light with the pilot lights

To Clean:
IMPORTANT:
Before cleaning, make sure all controls are off and
the oven and cooktop are cool. Do not use oven cleaners, bleach
or rust removers.
1. Remove the burner cap from the burner base and clean
according to “General Cleaning” section.
2. Clean the gas tube opening with a damp cloth.
3. Clean clogged burner ports with a straight pin as shown. Do
not enlarge or distort the port. Do not use a wooden
toothpick. If the burner needs to be adjusted, contact a
trained repair specialist.
4. Replace the burner cap, making sure the alignment pins are
properly aligned with the burner cap.
5. Turn on the burner. If the burner does not light, check cap aligment.

Cook top will not light

Try to light it with a match to verify gas is getting to the burner.
If it light with a match you will have to repair the ignitor for that burner.

Top burners often wont light if oven is already lit

I have fix that problem before, the oven heat is soficating the top burners, you will have to adjust top burners with the oven on, so that they will light by them selfs.Or put a shield under the cook top section on the back, so that the heat will not come to the burners where they get the oxigen.

Burner on range will not turn off

Look at the back of your range there should be schemetic for your power control board. look for defective burner wire going into relay. There should be 5 relays in rows. Realy is the problem. I had the same problem with my front left burner stuck on high.
After replacing everything works okay.

Kitchen aid cook top gas. iginator consstantly firing with knoob off

strutz, you probabley got one of the valve switches wet when cleaning. It could of shorted out or it might be just wet. Pull the control knobs off the burners and take a hair dryer and go over the valves slowly. See if it stops the clicking. If not you will probabley have to change out one of the switches. Im not coming up with anything with the RGA365 model number. Try the above posted first...Catriver..post back.
